Start with the WWE schedule for today, not a search-result headline that happens to contain the word “tonight.” A correct answer needs four matching fields: the show name, the calendar date where you are, the venue and city, and a confirmed start status. If the page says there is no event today, that empty state is more useful than an old page dressed up as breaking news.

The warning is not theoretical. WWE has event pages titled “TONIGHT! Monday Night Raw” that remain indexed after their original date. One such page still carries that relative title while its own time-and-location block identifies Monday, November 13 at Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. The date inside the listing controls; “tonight” in a title, social post or search snippet expires as soon as that night ends.

Do not assume every Friday broadcast is being performed in front of that night's crowd. WWE announced a June 29, 2026 double taping at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City: Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown were both recorded as part of the Monday event.
